These factory boosted cars are really nice lately. I've driven the piss out of my brothers 2003 Mitsu EVO and have spent some time behind the wheel of an STI, both very nice and capable cars.

Good to see some of the old guys still around. I'm just peeking in every-once-in-a-while to catch the latest poop. Good to hear you all are doing well.

I'm old to this site. Moved on from my Turbo GSR to an S2000, didn't "feel it" so left it for an NSX...I'm loving every minute of it. [img]cool.gif[/img]

It's been a while since I've been here as well. I still have my GSR (Supercharged since 11/98) but only drive it a few days every month. (It's been over a year since my last autocross)It still runs well, but I have a little bit of a squeak/squeal which is most noticable at idle. I don't know if it is a bad idler pulley or something with the blower. I cannot seem to isolate the exact location. (It's just too darn noisy under that hood...)

I've had my STI for about a year and a half, swearing I wouldn't touch it. Then I figured, OK, just a downpipe....now the engine management and the rest of the exhaust are coming, a boost gauge sitting on my workbench to install, then dyno tune for street and race gas maps. That should last for a while, with the need for new tires and brake shoes relatively soon. Then I know it'll eventually be a new turbo, and injectors and fuel pump to go with it...and an intercooler.

Some habits die hard....

I did get to race my old GSR a few months back with the STI, thank god I beat it. But my GSR trapped faster than my STI does now, the STI is a pig on the top of the rev band where the old GSR kept climbing for more.

Howdy everybody! My 2000 GSR JRSC is still rolling after 55K on the blower, only things replaced are belts (3) and pulleys (2). My son has been driving it for the last 2 years while I got a dose of performance with an 03 Cobra (11.36 @ 128 last summer). Retired the Cobra from daily commuting duties and got an 04 WRX for DD. Love both the Cobra and WRX, but the GSR and little eaton have been a great combo. I'm really glad I never tried to take it beyond 6 psi with no intercooler and no real engine management, I wanna see it go another 50!

Whats up old timers?

I havent posted on here in a long long time, but I do check around every so often. It's been a hell of a year. I purchased a 98 Viper GTS last February and unfortunately sold it in September [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img] A little piece of me died when I sold that car, it was absolutely BADASS. Ended up costing me about 7k when all said and done but it was one hell of an experience.

I sold my Supercharged GSR a few months ago to a friends brother and he is very pleased with the car. I now drive an 01 Lexus GS300 which gets my butt to and from work quite comfortably, although not as fast as I would like [img]smile.gif[/img] It gets the job done. I'm headed on the path of purchasing a house and getting engaged so I will let you guys know how that all goes. I live right outside Washington DC and the housing market is freakin insane. $350k gets you a shoebox that needs some work, which is quite disappointing.
